As we approach the 2019 national election, political parties only have about a year to start campaigning. When EFF ‘s Dali Mpofu joined Gareth Cliff on his legal battle with M-net everyone was surprised but they came out victorious. As a hiphop radio statio, though it seem like a political campaign; we support the move by EFF to support Fifi Cooper and believe if political parties always assisted artists in such cases many artist’s careers would have been saved.
Hiphop needs political parties that will challenge the way the entertainment industry has been operating. The outcomes of this case will help a lot of upcoming artists, especially with details of how to sign a deal and importance of legalities involved when entering into a deal with a record label. Big ups to EFF
We have seen the injustice caused on Fifi Cooper by Ambitious Entertainment which is politically associated with the corrupt North West Premier, Supra Mahumapelo. We have contacted Fifi with the willingness to help her fight back against the corrupt & exploitative record company!
